SENIOR CENTER THEATER

Caitlin and a team of teaching artists teach theater classes at multiple senior centers throughout Brooklyn. During the pandemic, the class transformed into a radio program called The Silver Lining which allowed seniors and their caregivers to listen via phone or computer and stay connected to their creativity throughout pandemic isolation. In 2022, Caitlin created a short film REST with The Roundtable Senior Center inspired by Tricia Hersey's manifesto REST IS RESISTANCE. She is currently working with participants at Palmetto Gardens Senior Center thanks to a grant from NYC Department for the Aging and building a new play and another short film with participants at Roundtable Senior Center.
